The election is fast approaching and voters are weighing their options.
While much of the focus has been on the Presidential Election and the race for the Connecticut U.S. Senate seat between Linda McMahon and Cheshire's own Congressman Chris Murphy (D-5), there are several other local elections of interest to residents.
This Thursday in Council Chambers at Town Hall, 84 South Main Street, the Cheshire/Wallingford League of Women Voters, in conjunction with the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, will hold its annual Candidate's Forum. The night will feature candidates for the different State Representative and Senate seats that are up for grabs this November.

The event is scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
