CJF Returns To Action On Sunday

Cheshire Junior Football & Cheerleading’s seventh grade ‘B’ team kept their unbeaten start (3-0) going last Sunday, winning 40-9 over Southington at Cheshire High School. Fifth grade (1-2) defeated Clinton 20-13 for their first win. Sixth grade (2-1) posted a 33-0 shutout of Amity. After winning their first two games, seventh grade ‘A’ came up short 24-19 against East Haven.
At Amity, eighth graders (2-2) pulled out a 16-14 win. Fourth ‘A’ (2-1) shut out host Wallingford 32-0. Fourth grade ‘B’ is 1-3 after falling 33-6 in Madison.
Today’s schedule has two home games at Cheshire Alumni Field. Eighth graders look for a third straight win over Manchester at 11 a.m. Fourth grade ‘B’ hosts Guilford at 1 p.m. Remaining road games, including a unbeaten contest between seventh grade ‘B’ and host Guilford at 1 p.m., are below:
