CHS Boys' Soccer Wins Housatonic Opener

Cheshire High School boys' soccer moved to 2-1-1 (1-0) by beating Sheehan (2-1; 0-1) in the Housatonic Division opener. Freshman Jake Goldstein turned a pass from senior Nick Berardi into his first varsity goal in the first half. Senior Matt Mueller added the second goal after halftime. Sheehan senior Matt Daniels scored at the end.
Sophomore Matt Skydel had eight saves (personal-best).
Cheshire visits Lyman Hall on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.
