If you haven't already made plans to do so, be sure to stop by Bartlem park sometime today as the Cheshire Fall Festival and Marketplace is being held today, from 10 a.m past 8:30 p.m. when the annual fireworks display is scheduled.
The Festival, one of the biggest community events of the year for Cheshire, offers residents an opportunity to browse between craft and business booths, enjoying a stop at the food court along the way for Festival favorites like fried dough. The annual Kiwanis Club Carnival is also taking place, allowing family members, young and old, the chance to experience rides and compete in some games.
There will be a classic car show and, at approximately 7 p.m. a special ceremony to honor the Cheshire Fire Department's 100 year anniversary will take place.
It all ends with the fireworks spectacular at night.
The event is free to the public.
