Fitzpatrick Rows To Silver Medal In Bulgaria

Cheshire teenager Deirdre Fitzpatrick, a University of Southern California (Los Angeles) freshman, competed in the World Junior Rowing Championship for the second straight summer. This year's event ran Aug. 14-19 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Fitzpatrick rowed on the girls' 4-Boat that finished second (6:56.44).
