Have you gotten your copy of The Cheshire Herald yet? If not, here is what you are missing:

*The Community Pool will be installing its protective cover in the next few weeks in preparation for the coming fall and winter months. However, the Town of Cheshire must still address the problem of humidity in the facility. Find out what they have planned.

*The Town is facing two different lawsuits, filed by different families, in regards to incident that involved their children. Read what the lawsuits are claiming.

*The Capital Budget was recently approved by the Cheshire Town Council and a considerable amount of money was set aside for improvements to the Town's technology infrastructure. Learn what improvements are planned for the short and long term.

*Whether voters approve the upgrade proposal for the Wastewater Treatment Plant in November remains to be seen. Regardless, the Town will have to install new equipment to reduce the levels of phosphorous being produced at the facility in order to meet new state mandates.
