Legion Baseball To Play In States

Cheshire American Legion baseball starts the first round of the state tournament on Saturday. Hosted by Cubeta Stadium (100 Bridge Street) in Stamford, the seniors (fourth seed; 22-7-1) play Milford (13th) at 12:30 p.m.
Juniors (14th; 13-8) host Niantic (19th) at Cheshire High School. That time is 12 p.m.
