CPD Conducting DUI Checkpoint

The following was submitted by the Cheshire Police Department for immediate release:

The Cheshire Police Department Traffic division will be conducting a DUI/ safety checkpoint on Friday July 6, 2012 between the hours of 6 PM and 2 AM.

Police will be looking for impaired drivers, seatbelt compliance and various equipment issues. Motorists may experience a brief delay while going through the checkpoint.

The Cheshire Police remind people to buckle up and not drink and drive.
