St. Peter's Episcopal Church is bringing a iconic musical to life this month. "The Sound of Music," Rodgers and Hammerstein's beloved production, complete with full costumes, choreography, chamber orchestra and a magnificent cast of 35 singers, actors, and performers is set to be performed. This fully staged two-act musical features all of your favorites such as "My Favorite Things," "The Hills Are Alive," "Climb Every Mountain," "So Long, Farewell," and the list goes on.
The full-scale production is directed by Joy Weaver with musical direction by June Hale, the team which brought you "Godspell" last
July, which played to packed audiences and received rave reviews. There will be two shows, July 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are $15 and may be reserved by calling the church office at (203) 272-4041, ext 14, or may be purchased at the church office. St. Peter's is located at the intersection of Rt 68/70 and Rt 10 in the center of Cheshire, 59 Main St., and has ample parking at the rear and side of the church.
