Rogers Won't Return As Headmaster Of Cheshire Academy

June 13, 2012 by John Rook

Cheshire Academy will once again be in search of a new headmaster as the school announced Wednesday that current Headmaster Doug Rogers will not return next school year.
A short statement released by the Academy Wednesday afternoon did not give details as to what precipitated Rogers' departure, stating only that he will be "pursuing other interests." It is unclear whether Rogers decided to leave or the school opted not to reup his contract.
Rogers was hired by the school in 2009.
Former headmaster Gerald Larson, who served in that capacity from 1999 through 2004, will step in on an interim basis beginning July 1.
