Lamare, Rinette L.

SOUTHINGTON – Rinette L. (Daigle) Lamare, 77, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. She had been the loving wife of the late Rene Lamare for 45 years.

Born in Soldier Pond, Maine on August 19, 1934 to the late Willie and Flavie (Pelletier) Daigle, she had been a Southington resident since 1965.

She is survived by three daughters, Miriam Liska and husband Gary of Cheshire, Gail Stavis and her fiancé Charlie Lanteigne of Wakefield, Mass., and Debbie Nesta and husband Greg of Wethersfield; daughter-in-law Carey Smedberg and husband Paul of Cheshire; and eight grandchildren, McKenzie and Stephen Stavis, Jesse, Amanda and Jake Liska, Nick and Carla Nesta, and Melissa Pelletier. She is also survived by two sisters and six brothers, many nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. She was predeceased by her son Mark, four brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 South Main St., Plantsville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Plantsville Funeral Home.
