The Cheshire Public Schools are pleased to announce that on June 1 at 2 p.m., the Dodd Middle School class of 1992 will open a time capsule they buried 20 years ago.
The capsule is entombed and engraved and “sits” in the hall outside the main office. For many years students have found respite against the capsule while wondering what it contains.
Principal Jeff Solan is inviting students, teachers, parents, retired teachers, and all members of the community to join in this exciting event.
The entire student body at Dodd Middle School will be watching via closed circuit TV.
This highly anticipated event is expected to reveal very interesting memorabilia. A video of the class with predictions of where each student might hope to be in 2012 will be sure to surprise and delight.
Principal Solan is eager to welcome interested members of the community to this event to see what students were involved in 20 years ago and how the past might connect to the future. Students, teachers, parents, retirees, and especially the class of 1992 should attend.
Refreshments will be provided and served by the Dodd students in the cafeteria.
