Monday's Cheshire High School varsity action includes:
Boys' Golf (4-1; 3-1 in Housatonic Division)
Cheshire hosts Amity and Sheehan at the Farms Country Club. Start time is 2:30 p.m.
Softball (7-4; 2-2)
Cheshire hosts Daniel Hand (3-7) at 4:15 p.m. CHS won 3-2 on April 5 in Madison.
The girls need one win to qualify for the Class LL Tournament!
Baseball (2-9; 0-4)
Cheshire looks to end a seven-game slide when they visit Middletown's Palmer Field to play host Xavier (6-4) at 4 p.m. The Falcons won 9-2 on April 5 at CHS.
Boys' Tennis (9-1)
Cheshire carries an eight-match win streak into Branford (7-3) at 3:45 p.m. Branford has won five straight.
Head Coach Jim Matthews is three wins short of 250!
Girls' Lacrosse (7-2)
CHS brings a three-game win streak into their game with Southington (3-2-1) at Bartlem Recreation Area. Start time is 4 p.m.
Boys' Lacrosse (5-4)
Cheshire hosts defending Southern Connecticut Conference Champion Fairfield Prep (6-2) at 6 p.m. The Jesuits won 13-5 on April 10 at Fairfield University.
Head Coach Rich Pulisciano needs one win for 200!
Boys' Volleyball (7-0)
The Rams aim for the program's 30th straight win at Xavier (3-5). Start time is 5:30 p.m.
