In February of 2011, the Calvary Life Worship Center fell victim to one of the worst winters in recent memory.
The heavy weight of snow and ice collapsed a portion of the building's roof, ensuring that the large facility would not be able to open again. Soon after, it was torn down.
Now, more than a year later, the church is ready to open again.
A new building stands where the old one was torn down, and church officials announced this week that the facility is ready for use with the first service planned for May 6.
The new building looks similar to the old from the outside, yet church officials have stated that there are new features. The building will officially be dedicated in July.
