Early-Morning Shooting Appears To Be Accidental

A 24-year old man was shot outside a Cheshire business in the early morning hours on Friday, but it does not appear to have been intentional.
Reports indicate that the man, who has not been identified yet, was shot in the chest outside Tufano Amusements. The young man was reportedly taken to MidState Medical Center and later was transported via helicopter to Hartford Hospital where, as of early this morning, he was undergoing surgery. His condition is unknown at this time.
Police have indicated that the shooting does not appear intentional and was the result of an accident.
