Sources have confirmed to The Cheshire Herald that Brix Restaurant has shut its doors and is looking for a new buyer for its building.
The restaurant, which served Italian-style meals, was located at 1721 Highland Avenue and had been open since the late 1990s, after owners Bernard and Onelia Gayraud took it over. Previously, the restaurant had been named The Pavilion in Cheshire, and the Gayrauds had managed that establishment for more than a decade. When they bought the restaurant, they changed the name to Brix and redesigned it.
