Environmental Group Awards Suzio A Perfect Score

November 16, 2011 by Special To The ...

State Senator Len Suzio (R-13) received top marks on this year's Environmental Scorecard issued Nov. 14 by the CT League of Conservation Voters.
Designed to give constituents a sense of how their elected officials performed in regards to issues like clean water, energy reform, conservation, and farmland preservation, the scorecard ranks state legislators on a scale from zero to 100 percent, based on their votes pertaining to environmentally-pertinent bills.
According to the report's calculations, Suzio scored 100 percent for his support of a host of environmentally friendly laws.
Suzio represents the communities of Cheshire, Meriden, Middlefield, Middletown and Rockfall.

Other Cheshire representatives also got perfect scores, but none are mentioned here. If this is supposed to be a news item and not a Suzio press release, its failure to mention any other local legislators - particularly Rep. Adinolfi, whose record regarding the safeguarding of Cheshire's environment earned him the sole failing rating among any of them - makes it incomplete and biased.
