90-Minute Delay For Students On Friday

November 3, 2011 by Josh Morgan

Cheshire Schools will be back in session on Friday, Nov. 4, but will be starting the day 90-minutes late.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Greg Florio announced Thursday afternoon that students would be returning to class on Friday. The schools have been closed all week because of power outages and fallen debris following the Autumn snowstorm. Florio said all the schools now have power. He urged parents to escort their children who normally walk to school, if possible, because there is still debris on some sidewalks in Town.
Florio was also advising school staff to arrive early on Friday.
