With over 90 percent of the Town of Cheshire still without electricity, and an emergency center being opened at Cheshire High School, district officials have decided to cancel classes until Thursday, at the earliest.
Educators for the Town's schools received word earlier today that classes were officially canceled for tomorrow and Wednesday, sources confirmed to The Herald. Schools are tentatively scheduled to open again on Thursday, depending on whether power is restored by that time.
