Police Arrest Wallingford Man Found With Marijuana And Prescription Pills

Last week, Cheshire Police officers, along with detectives from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, arrested a Wallingford man who was believed to be transporting illegal drugs into Town.
On Tuesday, Oct. 11, the state police received information about a potential suspect driving to Cheshire with narcotics. After contacting the Cheshire Police, the suspect's car was spotted by a uniformed Cheshire officer, who performed a traffic stop. A search of the vehicle was conducted and, in that investigation, more than 29 grams of marijuana, 115 prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia was discovered. The driver, Metro M. Cremo, 19, from Wallingford, was arrested. He is being charged with numerous narcotics related offenses, according to the state police, and is being held on bond. The illegal items and the vehicle were all seized, police said.
