A. Yes! Just click on the demo link to take a tour!

Q. How do I navigate the e-Edition?
A. You can use the ? icon in the header tool bar. This will show you how to get the most out of your reading experience!

Q. Does it matter whether I have dial-up or broadband?
A. No. While we strongly recommend using a broadband connection for the best connectivity, the e-Edition works on either connection.

A. Yes, a PDF is available for users who would like to download the entire paper for offline viewing later. On a broadband connection. it usually takes about 2 minutes. Just click the PDF icon in the header

Q. I used to be able to buy the print edition and the E-Edition of The Cheshire Herald for a combination price. I see that has changed, why?
A. When we switched over to the new E-Edition we found that for the sake of billing, it was simpler to continue to bill subscribers for the print edition through our office. When the renewal for the E-Edition comes due, you will receive notification through your email. To somewhat compensate, we have lowered the price of the E-Edition for everybody.

Q. Some newspapers give their E-Editions to their regular print subscribers for free, you charge for yours, why?
A. We feel that the E-Edition is a great value for a number of reasons. You will receive it first thing every Thursday morning, right on your computer. It will never get lost in the mail, and for the “snowbirds” you never have to change your address. The E-edition is easier for those with vision problems to read, and you can even have the articles read to you. There are hyperlinks to help you get more from the articles and advertisements. The E-Edition also is translated into 12 languages.

That being said, we are a small business and investing in this type of technology is a considerable investment, which is not offset by the savings we gain by not printing the newspaper. For those of you outside of New Haven County, an E-Edition only subscription will save you money over the print edition.
