The Cheshire Public Library has issued a press release warning patrons that the facility may be forced to close for a brief time tomorrow morning. According to information provided by the library, the closure may be necessary as Connecticut Light and Power is scheduled to perform an electrical upgrade on the building in the overnight hours and the work may remain ongoing in the morning.
Whether the closure will be required is still unknown at this time, so library officials ask that anyone concerned about the closure call the facility at (203) 272-2245 or check the library's website at www.cheshirelibrary.org. When on the site, click on the "Calendar of Events" link to get the status of the upgrade.
This story updates an earlier version that ran on The Cheshire Herald website stating that the closure could take place on Friday, June 10. Library officials corrected that earlier information.
