The Cheshire Public Library has issued a press release morning warning patrons that the facility may be forced to close on the morning of Friday, June 10. According to information provided by the library, the closure may be necessary as Connecticut Light and Power is scheduled to perform an electrical upgrade on the building in the overnight hours of June 10 and the work may remain ongoing that morning.
Whether the closure will be required is still unknown at this time, so library officials ask that anyone concerned about the closure call the facility at (203) 272-2245 or check the library's website at www.cheshirelibrary.org. When on the site, click on the "Calendar of Events" link to get the status of the upgrade.
