A recent earthquake and subsequent tsunami has left much of Japan devastated,
News reports each night show the destruction left over from the event, and citizens of that country look on with anxiety as crews try desperately to cool reactors at a nuclear facility, doing what they can to avoid a meltdown.
Several calls have come for foreign nations to help, and the American Red Cross has been a leader in trying to provide basic needs to individuals struggling after the tragedy.
Recently, a small group of students did their part to try and help, in any small way that they could.
At Cheshire Country Day School, the Pre-k class held a bake sale to help those in need. Many families at the center participated by baking and making donations for the delicious goodies.
Over $350 was donated to the American Red Cross Japan Relief Efforts.
