Are you interested in home energy savings?
Have you heard the talk around town about Home Energy Solutions (also known as a home energy audit), but are unsure of the process, or haven’t had the time to schedule your visit? The Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge will be hosting a free Home Energy Basics Workshop in the Fellowship Hall at United Methodist Church on April 7, 2011 from 7-8:30 PM. Come to this workshop and learn why a Home Energy Solutions (HES) visit is the most effective way for you to improve your home energy efficiency, and save serious money on your utility bills. Home Energy Solution’s technicians will be present to answer any questions you may have and will be able to sign you up for your HES visit.
A HES visit provides $750 in efficiency measures and services for a co-pay of just $75. Most households will see about $200 in savings each year following their visit. Energy savings resulting from this service will go towards Cheshire’s Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge goal, helping Cheshire to become a state-leader in energy efficiency!
The Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge is a new program in Cheshire that aims to reduce energy consumption in 10% of households by 20%. In addition to Cheshire, 13 other CT towns are participating in the challenge and competing to see who can reach and/or exceed their goals. By taking steps to become more energy efficient, residents will help Cheshire meet its goals and potentially win town rewards such as solar powered LED street lights.
To register for this workshop please contact Chris Driscoll by phone 203-272-4626 or email email@example.com. For more information about this event please email Crystal Nosal at firstname.lastname@example.org.
