Figura Is Queen Of 'Tennis' Court

Plymouth State University (New Hampshire) sophomore tennis player Rachel Figura, a 2009 Cheshire High School graduate, contributed heavily to a season-opening victory (6-3) over the University of Southern Maine on Sept. 4. Figura won 6-3, 6-3 at three singles, teaming with junior Lydia Smith for an 8-5 victory in second doubles. USM is a Little East Conference rival.
Plymouth State, coached by Barbara Rawlsky Willett, hosts Worcester State tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
