On Tuesday, Feb. 2, students from Cheshire High School participated in the annual Job Shadow program, where professionals in a variety of fields allowed students to “shadow” them for the day. The purpose is to expose teenagers to the realities of an average workday in a career field they might be interested in exploring one day.
This year, The Cheshire Herald allowed two students, Julia Turret and Meghan Fackler, to shadow reporter Josh Morgan during the morning and afternoon hours. Turret and Fackler were given an inside look at both Morgan's daily routine and the workings of the paper itself.
Below are links to Turret and Fackler's accounts of their experience during the job shadow program.
