CA Boys' Soccer Wins On Goal From Aris, Morrison Scores Twice In Field Hockey Loss

On Monday, Cheshire Academy boys' soccer (3-3-2) shut out Chase Collegiate School 1-0. Alanzo Aris, assisted by Luca Mazzella, scored the lone goal. Matt Molnar collected eight saves in goal.
On Wednesday, the boys visit Marianapolis Prep at 3:30 p.m.

CHS Girls' V-Ball Earns 35th Consecutive Win, Field Hockey And Girls' Soccer Come Up Short

On Monday, Cheshire High School girls' volleyball (8-0, 3-0 in Housatonic Division) came away victorious 3-1 (25-10, 25-14, 16-25, 25-20) at Mercy (6-2). The third game was the first that CHS had dropped this year.
Senior Jillian Haberli had 17 kills and 15 digs (career-high). Junior Marli Green (four blocks, two digs) set a personal-best for kills (13).

Monday's Cheshire High School varsity schedule:
Field Hockey (4-1-1)
Going 3-0-1 in the last four games, Cheshire hosts Lauralton Hall (4-2) at 3:45 p.m. On Sept. 12, the Crusaders beat CHS 2-0 for their first win as a Southern Connecticut Conference program.
Girls' Soccer (3-2-2, 1-1-1 in Housatonic Division)
The girls host Amity (4-2-1, 2-0-1) at 6 p.m.

Cheshire Academy Football Wins Shoot-Out

On Saturday, Cheshire Academy football (2-0) collected a 55-35 victory at Avon Old Farms School (1-1). Quarterback Patrick Kehoe connected on 20 of 35 passes for 446 yards. Along with throwing five touchdowns, Kehoe additionally ran for a score.

CHS Girls' X-C Takes Second In 33rd Bethel Invite, Boys' Soccer Beats Sheehan On Ravenberg's First Varsity Goal

In Saturday's 33rd Bethel Invite, Cheshire High School girls' cross country ended up in second place (53 points). CHS received seventh through ninth places from freshmen Lauren Daddi (21:42) and Calli Parlier (21:44) and senior Liz Cunningham (21:48). Freshman Rachel Kaplan (15th, 22:26) and sophomore Camille Lewis (21st, 22:53) joined them in the top 25.

Yamin Runs For Four Touchdowns In Win At West Haven

On Friday, Cheshire High School football (3-0) remained unbeaten with a 42-28 victory at West Haven (2-1). Paced by four touchdowns from senior Andrew Yamin, CHS took a 28-14 lead into halftime. Scoring summary:

On Saturday, Cheshire High School field hockey (1-1-1) settled for a scoreless draw with Greenwich (0-0-2). Sophomore goalkeeper Alyssa Stevens had eight saves, including a stop of a penalty stroke from Greenwich junior Jessica Lagano with 55 seconds left in regulation.
