Monday's Cheshire High School varsity sports schedule:
Indoor Track and Field
CHS boys and girls visit Floyd Little Athletic Center for the Southern Connecticut Conference Championship at 4 p.m.
Girls' Ice Hockey (11-2-1)
Amity/North Haven/Cheshire Co-Op heads to Winter Garden Ice Arena to face host Ridgefield (8-7-1) at 5 p.m.

CHS Boys' Basketball Wins Big, Girls' B-Ball And Skaters Fall, Cheerleaders Shine In SCC Meet, Wrestling Ends Home Slate

On Saturday, Cheshire High School boys' basketball (7-8, 4-2 in Housatonic Division) collected their fifth straight victory 59-32 over Lyman Hall (8-8, 0-5). CHS shut out the Trojans 19-0 in the opening quarter and they took a 37-13 advantage at halftime.

Friday's Cheshire High School varsity sports schedule has changed. Updates are below:
Indoor Track and Field
The Southern Connecticut Conference Championship has been moved to Monday at Floyd Little Athletic Center. Start time remains 4 p.m.

Cheruk Propels CHS Boys' Swim And Dive To Road Win, Blades Fall To Simsbury, Varsity Sports Schedule For Friday

On Thursday, Cheshire High School boys' swim and dive improved to 8-0 with a 90-66 win at Haddam-Killingworth. Senior Alex Cheruk individually captured the 50- (23.1) and 100-yard (50.9) freestyles.

CHS Basketball Teams And Ice Hockey Sweep On Wednesday, Varsity Sports Slate For Thursday

On Wednesday, Cheshire High School girls' basketball (6-9, 2-3 in Housatonic Division) beat defending Housatonic Champion Sheehan (10-6, 2-3) by a score of 55-47. CHS snapped a four-game slide and evened the season series (1-1).

Pins Lead CHS Wrestling Past Amity On Senior Night, Cheshire Ski Teams Earn Pair Of Victories At Mount Southington

On Senior Night, Cheshire High School wrestling (9-7) won their sixth straight 45-27 over Amity. CHS used four pins to race out to a 24-0 advantage.
Senior quad-captain Mike Marotta (152 pounds), seniors Joe O'Donnell (160) and Chris Papa (182), junior Nick Bendanna (195), senior quad-captains Owen Brown (120) and Darren Barile (132), and sophomore Jaycob Minihan (145) contributed pins.

Girls’ basketball (5-9, 1-3 in Housatonic Division)
CHS hosts Sheehan (10-5, 2-2) at 7 p.m. The Titans won 60-50 on Jan. 8.
Boys' basketball (5-8, 2-2)
Winners of three straight, Cheshire travels to Sheehan (5-8, 1-3) at 7 p.m. CHS posted a 63-51 victory on Jan. 8.
