Rams Baseball Sweeps Foran On Saturday, Monday's Varsity Schedule

On Saturday, Cheshire High School baseball (5-3, 1-1 in Housatonic Division) enjoyed a double-header sweep of Foran (2-6) by scores of 9-3 and 7-0.
Senior Liam Davey (2-1; four hits, seven strikeouts) pitched into the sixth inning before giving way to his brother, junior Connor Davey (hit, three strikeouts).

CHS Softball, Girls' Lacrosse, And Tennis Teams Earn Victories On Friday

On Friday, Cheshire High School softball (7-0, 3-0 in Housatonic Division) defeated Foran (4-4) 12-4 to remain unbeaten this year. Cheshire had four two-run home runs, including a personal-best two blasts from senior Olivia Odermatt (four RBIs). Odermatt went deep in the fourth and hit her second home run an inning later.

CHS Ice Hockey Coach Chooses To Step Down

Due to personal reasons, Cheshire High School ice hockey head coach Karl Sundquist has announced that he is stepping down. CHS went 9-11-2 last season and reached the Division II quarterfinals where they fell 4-2 to top-seeded Conard.

CHS LAX Teams, Girls' Golf, Girls' Outdoor Track And Field, And Boys' Volleyball Post Wins On Thursday

On Thursday, Cheshire High School girls' lacrosse improved to 3-3 with a 14-2 win over West Haven (2-4). Down 1-0, CHS scored 14 straight goals into the second half. Cheshire held an 8-1 advantage at halftime.

CHS Softball And Boys' Tennis Earn Road Wins On Wednesday, Thursday's Schedule

On Wednesday, Cheshire High School softball (6-0, 3-0 in Housatonic Division) remained unbeaten with a 10-2 victory at Lyman Hall (2-5, 0-2). Due to weather, the game was called in the top of the sixth inning.

Boys' Tennis (2-0)
The Rams will host Jonathan Law (1-3) on Tuesday at Cheshire Park. Start time is 3:45 p.m.
Girls' Tennis (2-2)
CHS will visit East Haven (1-3) on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.
