Team 203 Club Medals In Stowe LAX Festival

Last weekend in Vermont, Cheshire High School lacrosse players contributed to Team 203 Club claiming three medals at the Stow LAX Festival.
In boys' action, a pair of 2015 squads both placed first. Matt Blois, Matt Bronson, and Christian Russo, helped the AA team beat New England Elite Black 10-6 in the A Division title game. The team is coached by Lee Bailey.

Harding To Compete In WPSL Final Four

Mid-fielder Cailynn Harding, a 2011 Cheshire High School graduate, contributed to Connecticut Football Club (CFC) Passion winning the Women’s Premier Soccer League Eastern Regional title last Sunday at Arundel High School in Gambrills, Maryland. CFC tipped New York Athletic Union 1-0.
In Saturday's first WPSL semifinal at the same site, CFC faces Houston Aces. The game begins at 4 p.m.

Branco Oversaw Ultimate Soccer Academy This Week In Cheshire

Cheshire Girls To Play 13-U LAX In Nutmeg State Games

On Saturday, a Cheshire girls' lacrosse team will visit Newington's Clem Lemire Recreation Complex for the 13-U Nutmeg State Games Tournament. Sandra Eddy will coach them against Tolland (10:30 a.m.), Newtown Nighthawks (12:30 p.m.), and CT Fury (2 p.m.).

Cheshire Flames, Wildcats Set For CVFL Tournament At Home

Cheshire Flames softball is hosting and entering five teams in the Central Valley Fastpitch League Tournament running tonight through Sunday at Bartlem Park, Cheshire High School, Dodd Middle School, and Cheshire Park. Cheshire Wildcats is also fielding a 12-U team.
There will be 22 teams competing for titles in the 10-, 12-, and 14-U age divisions.

Cheshire American Legion Senior Baseball Sweeps Trumbull, Wins Sectional Finals At CHS

After forfeiting a game they led 8-2 in the eighth inning yesterday, Cheshire American Legion Senior baseball (26-10) beat Trumbull 10-4 and 12-2 at Cheshire High School to win the Southern Division Sectional finals 2-1.

On Wednesday, at Cheshire High School, Cheshire American Legion Senior baseball (fourth seed, 24-10) lost the first game of the Southern Division Sectional finals in unusual fashion. Cheshire led 8-2 in the top of the eighth inning before Trumbull coaches approached the umpires.

Cheshire American Legion Senior Baseball Hosts Trumbull In Sectional Finals

Cheshire American Legion Senior baseball (24-9, three-time defending Zone 3 Champion at 20-8) hosts Trumbull in Wednesday's Sectional finals at Cheshire High School. Start time is 3:30 p.m.
The best two out of three series continues on Thursday at 2 p.m. If a third game is needed, there will be a double-header on Thursday.
