CHS Football Falls To Second-Half Charge From Green Knights

On Friday, Cheshire High School football (6-2) came up short 38-21 against Notre Dame-West Haven (6-2). In the second half, the Green Knights outscored CHS 18-0 to come from behind to win on the road. Scoring summary:

CA Football To Go After League Crown On Senior Night

On Saturday, Cheshire Academy football (6-0) plays for the final Colonial League title against Westminster School (5-1) at 6 p.m. The Fighting Cats will hold Senior Night before the game.

CHS Cross Country Caps Year In State Open

On Friday, Cheshire High School boys' cross country took seventh (217 points) in the State Open at Wickham Park in Manchester. Freshman Brendan Murray was the top runner in 28th (16:29).

The defending champion, CHS will receive a bye and then host the Second Round next Thursday at 6 p.m. The girls will play the winner of Monday's First Round between Danbury (16th, 10-8)/Fairfield Warde (17th, 10-9) at 6 p.m.

CHS competes in the State Open at Wickham Park in Manchester. Freshmen Lauren Daddi and Calli Parlier start in the girls' race at 2 p.m. Cheshire boys race at 2:45 p.m.

CHS Girls' Swim And Dive Earns SCC 3-Peat, Girls' V-Ball Reaches Title Match, Girls' Soccer Falls In Final

On Wednesday, Cheshire High School girls' swim and dive claimed their third straight Southern Connecticut Conference Championship (1,291.5 points) at Southern Connecticut State University. In the 21 years of this meet, CHS has held the crown 20 times.

Glatt And Mostoller Score High In Diving Meet, CHS Girls To Compete In SCC Playoffs On Wednesday

On Tuesday, Cheshire High School sophomore Emily Glatt (fifth, 360.7) and senior Erin Mostoller (338.7) cracked the top 10 of the Southern Connecticut Conference Diving meet at Hamden.
The two-time defending champion, CHS visits Southern Connecticut State University for the swim final at 6 p.m.

In Monday's Southern Connecticut Conference semifinals, Cheshire High School girls' soccer (second, 11-4-3) defeated Housatonic Division foe Shelton (third, 10-5-3) 2-1. Cheshire holds a 1-0-2 edge in the series.
