Salvatore, Anna Mae

CHESHIRE – Anna Mae Salvatore, 74, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017, at her home, with her devoted family by her side. She was the adoing wife of Michael James Salvatore, whom she was madly in love with and married to for 51 years.

Anna Mae was born on June 10, 1942 in Meriden, Conn. She was the daughter of Adeline (Gura) Ozycz and the late Victor Ozycz.

She graduated in 1963 from Grace-New Haven School of Nursing, where she earned her degree as a registered nurse. She was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother, and shined when she was with her family, especially her three precious grandsons.

Anna Mae is survived by her husband, Michael James Salvatore, and her daughters, Michele Salvatore of Durham, Conn., and Anne Epstein, along with her husband Jason Epstein and their three children, Grey Jameson, Ford Salvatore, and Loewe Maer, of Westport, Conn.; her older brother, Thaddeus Ozyck of East Boothbay, Maine; younger brother, Paul Ozyck of Dustin, Fla.; and her younger sister, Joanne Ozycz-Santos of Jacksonville, Fla.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on February 14, 2017 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire, Conn. Family and friends are welcome to meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours. Burial will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St., is assisting the family with arrangements.
